CENTRAL PARK RANGERS HOLD TOP OF THE LEAGUE TO DRAW
Chaddlewood 1-1 Central Park Rangers
In a game played in typical staddiscombe weather chaddlewood took an early lead taking advantage of the wind the striker found himself one on one with Kilpatrick and poked it past him. 10 minutes later chaddlewood could have been 2 up but for an amazing show of sportsmanship Connor Byrne faced an open goal but instead of slotting home he kicked the ball out of play as Rhys Yates was hurt in a challenge that led to the chance. After that Central Park Rangers seemed to find another gear and got the ball down and played some lovely football shortly before half time Stirling Woodside pinged and perfectly weighted pass over the defense which Dan Down controlled with the outside of his foot before drilling home.
Second half was saw both teams trying to play football in wet and windy conditions most of the play being in midfield. 15 minutes into the 2nd half 16 year old Fabien Johnson-Ewers came off the bench to make his debut just 8 days after his birthday showing alot of confidence running at the chaddlewood defense. The game ended in a draw which was a fair result for both teams.
